Xiaomi yesterday announced three new smartphones in the Mi 10T series . The two most luxuriously decked out variants use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 and can use 5G. In addition to these new smartphones, the company also has a new Mi Watch.

The new Mi Watch uses a 1.39-inch amoled panel with a resolution of 454 x 454. It should be able to handle a brightness of up to 450 nits. The battery has a capacity of 420 mAh, which should provide up to 16 days of standby time. A wireless charger has a built-in magnet so it won’t fall off your charger. It is not known which system-on-a-chip is used. In any case, it must be able to handle Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy.

It can accommodate more than 100 watch faces and uses Xiaomi’s own operating system. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not mention any further properties.

The watch is waterproof up to a pressure of 5 atmospheres and the tempered glass has a coating that prevents fingerprints.

Obviously, there are various sensors available to monitor your health, including an oxygen saturation meter, an accelerometer and gyroscope with three axes, a geomagnetic sensor (compass), a barometer and a light sensor. In addition, there is GPS support and it has 117 fitness programs that you can operate with a separate button.

It can be connected to Android devices with Android 4.4 and iPhones with iOS 10.0. It also supports Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. The watch case weighs 32 grams, and the thermoplastic polyurethane watch strap is available in black, orange, blue, beige, olive green and yellow.
