Since the beginning of this year, all the popular mobile manufacturers in the world have started selling 5G smartphones. This means that even if 4G is currently running on those phones, they will support 5G technology in the future.
However, there is no end to the fog over when 5G will arrive in India. You don’t have to wait long to get the answer to this question. The field test of the 5G service has begun! The central government has made all the plans in this regard.
According to the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), the country is preparing to launch 5G services. According to a tech site called Telecom talk, DOT will begin 5G field trials in two to three months. The central govt has already sought an outline from the DOT in this regard.
He also sought an explanation as to why it was so late to launch 5G services in the country. Basically, the distribution of Spectrum is lagging. 16 applications have been submitted to the government house for the trial of 5G technology. Telecom operators will start field trials in different parts of the country in the next two-three months.
Airtel has already tried 5G. They said that their telecom technology is ideal for 5G. Once the spectrum is distributed, there will not be much barriers to introducing 5G services in different parts of the country.
