Six times more temperature than the temperature of the sun. South Korea’s Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) creates a record by spreading the temperature like the sun. It is one kind of Artificial Sun.
Sun’s center temperature is about 15 Million degrees Celsius. A Nuclear reactor in South Korea has reached six times the temperature of the sun. That is why it is called the ‘artificial sun’ of South Korea.
This Nuclear reactor set a new record this time. It reached a temperature of 100 million degrees Celsius and it lasted for over 20 seconds. No other Nuclear reactor in the world has been able to maintain this level of temperature for such a long time.
According to the NASA Space Agency, the sun has different temperatures at different places. Its center temperature is about 15 Million degrees Celsius. However, the temperature of the sun’s surface is about 5,600 degrees Celsius.
