The South Korean company Samsung has announced its new rugged tablet Galaxy Tab Active3.

The company Samsung demonstrated a secure tablet that meets the requirements of military standards MIL-STD-810H.

The device is IP68 waterproof and can survive submersion to a depth of 1.5 meters. With the included case, the tablet will survive a fall from a height of 1.5 meters. The glass of the screen is highly durable, and you can operate the gadget even with gloves.

The 8-inch display of the novelty is made using PLS technology with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The Samsung Exynos 9810 chipset is responsible for the performance of the Galaxy Tab Active3. The RAM is 4 GB, but the permanent memory is either 64 or 128 GB.

A 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel selfie camera, a removable battery with a capacity of 5,500 mAh. The Galaxy Tab Active3 camera is optimized for barcode scanning, and the Tab Active3 also supports NFC with EMV Level 1 for accepting payments.

The Tablet will be released on Android 10 and will receive three major updates. The sale of the rugged tablet will begin in the IV quarter of this year.
