Oppo has introduced a new low-cost smartphone Oppo A33 – a budget model with a display with a frequency of 90 Hz.
Oppo is still perceived as something outlandish for our people, but in its homeland this company overtakes many well-known manufacturers in sales. The only serious problem for the company for a long time was a little inadequate pricing: Oppo offered much less for the price tag for which the same Xiaomi could sell a solid mid-range budget.
But, thank Gods, the company’s course has begun to change a little lately, and we are getting more and more truly competitive devices. One of them should definitely be the Oppo A33 presented today.
The device was launched in Indonesia today. Oppo is promoting it as a super-affordable offering for people who want a decent smartphone but aren’t willing to pay more than $ 150
The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 460. This chipset is currently the most powerful Snapdragon 400 series. It is helped by 3 GB of RAM, and the drive can be expanded up to 256 GB using a micro-SD card. The novelty is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS-display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The manufacturer decided to save a little and installed a panel with HD + resolution.
The smartphone has a main camera unit, consisting of three lenses: the main one with 13 megapixels, a 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. In the hole in the display, we find an 8MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Other specs include a USB-C port and ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
The Oppo A33 comes in black and mint green. Sales will begin on October 1 with a starting price tag of around $ 155.
