Last July, Asus unveiled the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone based on the Snapdragon 865+ and with a 144Hz frame rate. Now, information about the launch of a cheaper version of the smartphone with improved functions has been confirmed.

ASUS has announced the release of an affordable version of the gaming smartphone presented ROG Phone 3, released in July this year. Now the device is available in versions with 16/512 GB and 12/512 GB of RAM and flash memory for 1099 and 999 euros, respectively.

The new variant will receive 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage for a price of 610 euros. The start of sales is scheduled for October 16 in India, and then in other countries.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 is equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a picture refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The main camera includes sensors with a resolution of 64, 13 and 5 megapixels, the front camera shoots in 24 megapixel resolution triple cameras, Chipset Snapdragon 865+, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash, dual front-facing speakers and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax, 2×2 MIMO) support.

The battery capacity is 6000 mAh with support for 30-watt charging.
