Joe Biden will take over the White House two days later. He will be sworn in as the country’s 46th president on January 20. Kamala Harris, who is about to take office as vice president, is also of Indian descent. In addition, the future president has selected several Indians for important positions. Many have nominated them. After taking the oath, it will be decided whether they will get the post or not.
At the top of this list is Bonita Gupta. Biden nominated him for the position of Deputy Attorney General of the Judiciary. Sameera Fazili can get the post of Deputy Director of the National Economic Council. Bharat Ramamurthy has been appointed deputy director of the White House National Economic Council.
Gautam Raghavan, who is close to Barack Obama, is also returning to the White House during Biden’s tenure. He is the Deputy Director of the Presidential Personnel Office.
